Website Overview
Hello, and welcome to CustomFlyGear.com. Our site is divided into five main sections: Home, Products, Design, Images, and Account. This tutorial explains the different sections of the website and teaches you how to use the Image Search tool. We hope this tutorial helps you as you navigate and create on CustomFlyGear.com!
Introduction to the different sections of CustomFlyGear.com
Home
There are three sub-navigational tabs within the Home page. Along with this Overview, you will also find Welcome and News sections. The Welcome tab leads to the CustomFlyGear.com home page. Here we feature exciting information, such as special savings, announcements, and the newest designs made by other CustomFlyGear.com users. The latest news releases, including articles about new features, products, and collections, are located under the News tab. You can also post your feedback about our site and products on the CustomFlyGear.com blog. Due to spamming issues, your message will not be posted immediately. This blog is monitored to ensure that all postings abide by our Terms of Use.
Products
The Products section also has three sub-navigational tabs: Products, Designs, and Images. Under Products, you will find all the products we currently offer. Be sure to check this page often, as we frequently add new products for you to design with. Select the type of product you want to print your design onto, for example a t-shirt or mousepad. This will bring up a page showing a photo of each product, along with a brief description, any color options, and the product’s price. This price does not include any discounts for volume orders or special offers. For the manufacturers’ in-depth description and a larger picture, simply click on the picture of the product you are considering. Each product gives you the option to Start Designing. Clicking this brings you to the Create section, and your selected product will appear in the design area.
The Designs tab shows all the public designs that other CustomFlyGear.com users have submitted. Designs are labeled with their given title and the date they were created. Each design gives you four options: Buy, View, Edit, and Tag. Select Buy to purchase the product without making any changes. View magnifies the design to give you a closer look. Edit allows you to customize the design, and make it your own. When you select Edit, you are directed to theCreate section, where you can change the text, resize the photo or image, and add other personal touches. The Tag option lets you list your images into categories. Adding tags makes it easier for you and your friends to find the image in a search.
The Images tab includes two sections: My Images and Public Images. To view My Images, you must be logged into your User Account. My Images includes all the images that you have uploaded or designed with in the past. Public Images are images submitted for public use by other users.
Design
Within the Design section, you will find four sub-navigation tabs: Create, My Designs, Public Designs, and Tutorial. Go through the simple steps on the Create page to design and order your own custom product. Our video Tutorial teaches new CustomFlyGear.com users how to upload, edit, and create new products on our site. My Designs shows you all of the designs that you have created on CustomFlyGear.com. You must be logged into your account to use My Designs. Public Designs are designs that other CustomFlyGear.com users have submitted to the community.
Images
The Images section can access all of the images on the website. There are four different areas in this section: Collections, My Images, Public Images, and Search. We have several different collections of photographs and images for you to design with. If you find a photographer that you like, you may select their collection to view more of their work. To see work from several collections, first select the Search tab, and then click on the subject of the image you are looking for.
Account
The Account section of CustomFlyGear.com allows you to securely store your order information and saved designs. To create a User Account, click the “create an account here” button. Then you simply fill in the required information to create your personal account. If you already have an CustomFlyGear.com account, login and use the sub-navigational tabs to view the designs and images that you have uploaded into CustomFlyGear.com, as well as saved designs and order information. You can also review your account information and change your password from this page.
Image Search
At the top of each page, you will find the Search Images tool. Enter a word that refers to the subject of your desired image, such as “cars” or “birthday.” Then select the Search Images button on the screen, or press enter on your keyboard. All the public images related to your subject will appear. When you see an image that you like, select the View option under the picture to magnify it. Under the larger view are two options: Start a Design with this Image, and Close Preview. If you choose to Start a Design with this Image, you are directed to the Create page of the website, and the image will appear on a t-shirt. Selecting Close Preview returns you to the Search Images page. At the bottom of the Search Images page, you will find the most popular search terms, and you can adjust your search at any time.

At the bottom of each page, there are links to the CustomFlyGear.com Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, About Us, Returns, and Shipping information. It is important that you read and understand these policies before using our site.
